Once again, the team at Blacklocks Jaguar Land Rover have taken home the trophy for Retailer of the Year in the regional division of the ‘2023/24 Retailer of the Year (ROTY)’ awards.

The ROTY awards celebrate stand-out dealerships and their teams, and after a challenging year for the brand, this achievement becomes all the more impressive.

Alongside the dealership, individual members of the team received Guild Membership recognition across several regional categories. Andrew Bamford, across the Sales Manager, APO Manager, and Sales Executive divisions, Jeremy Aquilina across the Technician division, and Sarah Thirkill across the Marketing Manager division.

Rick Kamevaar, Dealer Principal, says of the team’s overall performance, “We are exceedingly proud of [the team]. It’s exciting and an honour to win this award again … we are extremely pleased.”

With several accolades under their belt, the team plan to keep up their momentum. Next year, they aim to take home not only the regional division but the ‘Overall Winner’ title, and will continue to drive best customer service and consistency to do so.

“The team are very motivated, both in general and because of this achievement. To achieve such an award, you need to tick off all your boxes, and then you need to go beyond that. It comes naturally to the team here, and I’m confident we’ll continue to see that effort reflected,” Rick says.
